Great spot for dimsum. Lots of variety and fresh dimsum (yay ladies in carts!). They have a large parking lot that is double, triple parked with valet. So we ended up street parking in the residential area and walking. Huge space with lots of tables. They have private rooms if you have a larger party. When we were about to leave, they were putting up beautiful Chinese panels - probably to block out half of the space for a wedding (I think).

Came here for dim sum on a Sunday afternoon, take a number and wait to be called. There is valet parking but some of us had to find parking on the streets.
Dim sum carts were coming around regularly, they have a good variety.
Prices are better here than in Manhattan Chinatown. Will be back!

Great Peking duck! Soup dumplings were fantastic. Service was ok, and short ribs were ok.

Super packed every time I come. If you come during weekends, be sure to come SUPER early as the wait typically takes a long time. They have valet parking in the back. Don't expect much from the service as well, like any dim sum places, since they're so packed. Food is pretty good every time we come. One of the top ones out of most of the dim sum I've had. They are also the only one ik that sells "gum-sa-cheung" which usually gets sold out real quick once it's out. The siu mai have also been getting really good there recently and they're huge. It's a very open space with a lot of tables and seatings, so not much space between tables but food is good and never had a bad experience with the food.

Hustle of bustle of Chinese big group meet ups. Recommend for large parties. The dishes are huge. Servers are very nice, gets work done, fast and efficient.

This is a pretty popular place for dimsum. We've been here for dimsum, dinner and also a banquet. So now I feel like I am somewhat qualified to give it an overall rating.
As for dimsum, they are one of the better ones in Flushing. Might not be the top, but they are up there. They supply much of the traditional dimsum, which in general are made well. The carts are supposed to roll through the restaurant so that everyone gets an opportunity to get something from the cart. But very often, the carts stay idle or move at several feet per 10-15 minutes, due to the overwhelming requests or many questions from the nearby patrons. I feel like they need 2-3 carts which carry the same dishes rather than just 1. Service can also be a little better. Manager likes to rush people.
As for dinner & banquet, I will just group them together since banquet dishes are really 1.5 to 2X of a dinner order. Overall the dishes are pretty decent, especially the traditional dishes. The rest which are supposed to be more creative or "fancy" are OK. The "fancy" dishes I feel are unecessary and doesn't really add to the dish. For example, there is a traditional deep fried crispy skin chicken which they take and "reinvent". They really just take the skin off the chicken, then ground the chicken and whip it into a paste or dace. They they layer chicken dace, shrimp dace, cook it and then you still get the crispy chicken skin on top, then yet another layer of semi candied almond slices. Then they put it back together to form the shape of a chopped chicken on a plate. When you take a bite, I guess it's supposed to have a nice snap from the shrimp and then a bit of crunch from the almond, but then it doesn't. I guess it's about texture? I had a piece and a half and said, "meh". In any case, I would rather have the traditional crispy skin chicken instead. I would have chomped down several pieces, heck an entire chicken leg for that matter.
So the conclusion... Dim sum all the way!! Dinner, stick with traditional dishes, you can't lose. No need to pay $$$$$ for the "fancy" stuff.

Probably the best roast pork buns around, since they closed Hop Shing in NYC on Chatham Square. This is way more authentic than Mei Lai Wah without the long lines and chunks of fat!
